For years, I oscillated between the brush and the lens. While abstract painting offered me freedom, travel often separated me from my canvas. The "Blue Sequence" was born in the silence of an abandoned open-air amphitheater in Northern Iran, a relic frozen since the revolution. Time had not been idle here; it had painted over the walls with moisture, cracks, and faded colors—maps of memory drawn by decay. Standing on the silent stage, I realized the roles had reversed: the empty seats, with their worn textures, had become the performers.
